On the question of the interval method

Abstract
This article is devoted to the issue of teaching students - future teachers of mathematics the topic "Interval Method". The interval method is a universal method for solving various types of inequalities and their systems. The article identifies the problem of low efficiency in solving inequalities of various types by the interval method by first-year students when studying the discipline "Elementary Mathematics" and suggests ways to solve this problem.
