Author Guidelines
GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS
The Bulletin of Manash Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University is a multidisciplinary scientific journal with double-blind peer review.
The purpose of the journal is to introduce readers to original results of theoretical and applied research in the fields of natural sciences, pedagogical sciences, social sciences and humanities, agricultural sciences, technical sciences, and philological sciences in Kazakhstan, and to ensure the effective exchange of relevant scientific and educational information within the scientific community of Kazakhstan, neighboring countries, and beyond.
The journal accepts scientific articles and reviews for publication that have not previously been published in scientific journals. Articles are selected based on plagiarism checks and double-blind peer review. Articles are submitted to the Bulletin website by the author personally.
Submission of an article to the Bulletin of Manash Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University implies that:
- the article has not been previously published in another journal;
- the article is not currently under consideration by another journal;
- all co-authors agree to the publication of the current version of the article.
Before submitting your article for review, please ensure that the file(s) contains all necessary information in Kazakh, Russian, and English, cites the sources of information in figures and tables, and that all citations are formatted correctly.

Instructions for Authors
- I. Title
The article title must correspond to the content of the material. It must be provided in Kazakh, Russian, and English. If the author's article is in Kazakh, the Kazakh title should be listed first, followed by the titles in Russian and English. If the article is in Russian or English, the title in the language in which the article is written should come first, followed by the title in Kazakh, and then the title in the third language. The English title should be written in a high-quality scientific style consistent with the English language. Font size: 12; line spacing: 1.0.
- Name of the Author(s)
Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. The corresponding author ensures that all authors and co-authors are listed, without including inappropriate individuals, and that the final version of the paper is reviewed, approved, and approved by all co-authors before uploading it to the journal website.
The names of non-authors who provided other support should be listed in the Acknowledgments section.
Provided in Kazakh, Russian, and English (the order depends on the language of the article). Font size – 12; spacing – 1.0.
III. Author(s) Affiliation includes information about the authors (last name and initials, full official name of the institution or organization, city, country, and email address of the corresponding author responsible for correspondence with the editors). The affiliation of each author with a specific institution is indicated using a superscript. Provided in Kazakh, Russian, and English (the order depends on the language of the article). Font size: 12; line spacing: 1.0.
- Abstract
Required abstract components: information content (abstract length - no more than 300 words); originality (novelty of the article); content (main content of the article and research results); structure; conclusions.
The abstract for all articles is provided in three languages: Kazakh, Russian, and English. If the author's article is in Kazakh, the abstract in Kazakh appears first, followed by the abstracts in Russian and English. If the article is in Russian or English, the abstract in the original language follows first, followed by the abstract in Kazakh, and finally in the third language. Font size: 10; spacing: 1.0.
- Keyword list (5 to 8 key terms or phrases used in the article). Keyword list is provided in three languages: Kazakh, Russian, and English. Font size: 10; spacing: 1.0.
- The article, at least 5 pages long (excluding abstracts and bibliography), must be typed in Word (version 2003 or later) using Times New Roman font and 1.0-point spacing. Page parameters: A4 format, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides. Submissions exceeding 15 pages are accepted for publication by special decision of the journal's editorial board. Paragraph indentation is 1 cm.
The text of the article should include:
- INTRODUCTION contains a justification for the relevance and level of development of the topic (a brief review of the scientific literature on the research topic is possible); formulation of the research problem; description of the object and subject of the study, goals and objectives of the article; a brief description of its structure;
- RESEARCH MATERIALS AND METHODS (EXPERIMENTAL PART) are a description of the methods and materials used in the study, including methods of collecting, processing and analyzing data; characteristics of the sample (if a sample survey is used);
- RESEARCH RESULTS are presented by a description and interpretation of the obtained results using figures, tables, graphs, and drawings;
- DISCUSSION
- CONCLUSIONS contain a formulation of conclusions based on the obtained results; a comparison of the obtained results with existing results on this topic; an assessment of the scientific novelty and practical value of the obtained results;
- FUNDING INFORMATION, ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS If the research has a source of funding (grants, state budget programs), this information must be provided.
- BIBLIOGRAPHY
– “Bibliography” – indicated in the original language of the sources. References in Kazakh and Russian are formatted in accordance with GOST 7.1-2003 “Bibliographic Record. Bibliographic Description. General Requirements and Rules for Compilation”. References to sources in a language using the Cyrillic alphabet must be transliterated into Latin letters. Transliteration is provided using the online translator at http://translit-online.ru/. This online translator does not transliterate specific letters of the Kazakh alphabet: authors must make corrections after transliterating the Kazakh text.

Citations are mandatory. The first reference in the text should be numbered [1], the second [2], and so on, in sequential order. When citing a result from a book, you should include its number in the bibliography and (separated by a comma) the page number on which the result is published. For example, [8, 325]. Citations to unpublished works are not allowed; references to online sources are permitted. For all publications with DOI identifiers, be sure to include them after the corresponding publication in both bibliographies.
All abbreviations and acronyms, with the exception of commonly used ones, must be expanded upon first use in the text.
Tables, figures, graphs, and diagrams should be included directly in the text of the paper, numbered, and referenced in the text. For example, “Figure 1 shows...” or “Table 2 presents data on...”.
VII. Tables
Tables should be of good quality and suitable for printing. Editable tables are preferred. Tables are numbered with Arabic numerals (from the top) in the order they appear in the text. The table title includes the table number and its title.

VIII. Figures must be of good quality, suitable for printing. All figures must have captions. Figures are numbered with Arabic numerals in the order they appear in the text. The caption includes the figure number and its title. Centered: Figure 3. Title
No period after the caption.
Figures, photographs, and drawings must be clearly visible. All details must be clearly shown in the drawings.
IX. AUTHORS’ INFORMATION (following the list of references) is provided in English and includes the following elements: last name and initials; position or profession; academic title, degree; place of work (full name of institution or organization, city); country name; email address.

Articles formatted in violation of the rules or containing grammatical or spelling errors, or automatic translation into English, are not accepted by the editors and will be rejected without a thorough review.
An article may be rejected or returned for revision at any stage if the editors or reviewers discover gross errors, extensive borrowing, or erroneous citations.
The editorial board of the journal “Bulletin of Manash Kozybaev North Kazakstan University” is responsible for selecting articles for publication. Reviewers and editorial board members evaluate submitted papers based solely on their intellectual content. The editorial board may, at its sole discretion, reject any material that violates legal requirements regarding libel, copyright infringement, and plagiarism.
Author Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for the accuracy and significance of their scientific results, as well as the relevance of the scientific content of their papers.
Manuscripts of articles previously published or submitted to other publications will not be accepted.
By submitting a manuscript for publication in the journal, authors guarantee that:
the manuscript has not previously been published and is not being considered for publication in another journal, and that publication has been approved by all authors and, either explicitly or implicitly, by the responsible bodies where the work was performed.
The originality of submitted manuscripts is checked using an anti-plagiarism system. Approval for publication in the journal is granted to manuscripts with an originality rating of at least 70%. If the work of other authors is used, the manuscript must be properly referenced.
False or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute a violation of publication ethics and are unacceptable.
The journal “Bulletin of Manash Kozybaev North Kazakstan University” is published four times a year in eight areas: natural sciences, biological sciences, pedagogical sciences, agricultural sciences, social sciences and humanities, technical sciences, information and communication technology, and philological sciences.
Submission deadlines, article review deadlines, and publication deadlines for the journal issue:
No. 1 – article submission deadline is February 15th, editorial review deadline is February 16th–28th, and publication deadline is March 30th;
No. 2 – article submission deadline is May 15th, editorial review deadline is May 16th–30th, and publication deadline is June 30th;
No. 3 – article submission deadline is August 15th, editorial review deadline is August 16th–30th, and publication deadline is September 30th;
No. 4 – article submission deadline is November 15th, editorial review deadline is November 16th–30th, and publication deadline is December 30th.
Articles that do not meet the above requirements in content and formatting will not be accepted for publication and will be rejected by the editors.
