Өңірлік қызмет көрсету секторын мезотерриториялық зерттеу негізінде және оған байланысты мақалада Солтүстік Қазақстан облысының гастрономиялық туризмінің әлеуеті қарастырылады. Өндірістік емес саланы дамыту қажеттілігі тек аймақтың агроэкономикалық мамандануымен және ауылдық еңбек нарығын монополиялаумен байланысты. Сонымен қатар, қолда бар материалдық және материалдық емес активтер қызмет көрсету салаларын, әсіресе гастрономиялық туризмді толық көлемде дамытуға мүмкіндік береді. Сервистік экономикаға және тұтастай алғанда аймақтың тұрақты дамуына мультипликативті әсер ете алатын түрлі гастротуристік өнімдер ұсынылады.
