Production types of first-heils depending on origin

 This article is devoted to the production types of first-calf heifers of the Red Steppe breed of different genotypes. The production type is associated with the constitution, exterior features of the animal, which is expressed in its milk productivity. To determine the types, 2 groups of crossbred first-calf heifers were formed: mothers - red steppe, fathers - angler and red estonian breeds. Production types are determined by different methods: according to Startsev, Nichik and Aisanov. These methods do not contradict each other. All animals were classified as dairy and meat type.
