Abstract
During the COVID-19 pandemic, online socio-psychological research has become an important tool that is actively used everywhere and in the post-COVID period to study various aspects of psychology and social interaction in the context of restrictions on offline meetings. However, conducting such research involves ethical considerations and the need to adhere to certain principles.
This article aims to explore the ethical dimensions of online socio-psychological research when employing online testing, surveys, and interviews. The authors delve into significant themes such as confidentiality, anonymity, informed consent, fairness, and the responsibility of researchers operating within the online realm. Additionally, the article presents practical recommendations for conducting ethical research.
