На основе анализа научно-методических источников и результатов самооценки студентов-математиков своей готовности к указанному виду деятельности обосновывается необходимость системного подхода к решению обозначенной проблемы. В исследовании представлен авторский взгляд на систему вузовской подготовки, направленную на формирование у будущих учителей математики математических и методических компетенций, определяющих их готовность к обучению школьников решению олимпиадных задач, обрисовываются проблемы, которые могут проявиться при ее реализации, намечаются пути их преодоления.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article actualizes the problem of developing the readiness of a future mathematics teacher to teach schoolchildren to solve Olympiad problems. Based on the analysis of scientific and methodological sources and the results of mathematics students’ self-assessment of their readiness for this type of activity, the need for a systematic approach to solving the identified problem is substantiated.
