Здоровье подрастающего поколения, студенческой молодёжи, а также ведения и поддержания здорового образа жизни, является важнейшей задачей нации. В связи с техническим и технологическим прогрессом общества, увеличением умственной нагрузки у обучающихся и, в связи с этим, развивающейся у них гиподинамии, встаёт потребность в изыскании средств и методов по развитию и поддержанию здорового образа жизни. На основании этого, целесообразно расширить спектр образовательных и воспитательных мероприятий в вузе, способствующих привитию обучающимся ответственного ведения здорового образа жизни и сохранение здоровья как себе, так и окружающим.
